Alphabet & Early Phonics

To enter successfully into the world of reading children need to have mastered letter/sound recognition. This usually begins with recognising the child's name and identifying the letters that make up the name. They then progress to other letters of the alphabet and eventually words. It is also important to link that letter with a sound. Alphabet games for kids that help with letter and sound recognition are plentiful and varied.
