Kiwi Moon is set in New Zealand's early days and follows a little white kiwi who thinks the moon is his mother because it is white, bright and round just like him. Because he doesn't blend in with brown kiwi in the forest, he has to defend himself from the many dangers of the forest. The story also tells of the people who live in the forest.
