Dress Up & Role Play

Dress up is an important imaginative play activity that allows children to role play as either fantasy or factual characters. Using costumes, children are able to make sense of the world in which they live. They use imaginative, cooperative and social skills which in turn develops their vocabulary and confidence. It is believed that dramatic play is an integral part of well rounded childhood development that cannot be replaced by adult interaction.
