Social and emotional skills are vital to learning, problem solving, self control, relationships and behaviour. Providing children with the skills to recognise and control their emotions, behaviours, establish and maintain positive relationships, set and achieve goals and to make responsible decisions and solve challenging situations has become a priority both at school and out of school. Creative Classrooms is continually sourcing materials that will aid the childhood development of these skill sets. Many of our resources take the form of games requiring interaction with peers. Others are in the form of activity cards that can be used as a group of individual game. We also encourage the display of posters that foster healthy relationships, attitudes and behaviours. Incorporating social and emotional skills into everyday life is easily achieved with our excellent resources.
